We recently sold our house in Shepherds Bush through your Hammersmith team. I wanted to take the time to tell you how impressed we were with their service. We realised it was a difficult market, and it took us seven months from first marketing our house (a very respectable, useful 3-bed Victorian terrace) to completion. Thoughout Dane gave us very sound advice, both on the price range and on our options if we didn't get the offers we were looking for. We had quite a tough time, with our first buyer falling through very late on because of complications on his own sale. Dane kept us informed at all points and took a lot of time and trouble obtaining information from the various solicitors, and tried very hard to keep everyone on board the chain. When it did fall through, Carla stepped in with a back-up buyer and acted very calmly, but very positively, as the mediator. Stuart did a lot of showing of the house, and I felt that he had a very good presence, and was very reassuring to viewers. On the eve of exchange, Dane again stepped in very professionally when our second buyers nearly pulled out because they had decided the housing market was not going to give them the sort of returns on the house they had been looking for. Dane must have set out a very sensible, broad picture of the housing market, as he kept them on board and the sale went through. So all in all we are really very very happy with the team and we really appreciate how hard they worked to get the sale. We would recommend them to others.
